These terms and conditions explain the basis on which you may use the Clogher Valley Eggs & Poultry website. They form an agreement between you and Clogher Valley Eggs & Poultry, a family-run business established in 1995.

What this website is for

This is an informational and marketing website. It is here to tell you about our poultry and waterfowl, fertile hatching eggs, handcrafted poultry housing, and fresh commercial and free-range eggs, and to let you get in touch with us.

Please note that:

• There is no online shop, checkout, basket or payment system on this site. You cannot buy anything or pay for anything online.
• There are no user accounts or logins to create or manage.
• All buying is enquiry-based. You send us an enquiry through one of our forms (or by phone or email), we reply to you directly, and any sale is then arranged between us.
• Collection of livestock and other goods is strictly by appointment and arranged separately with you.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer to sell. A sale only happens once we have confirmed the details, price and arrangements with you directly.

Product information, breeds and availability

We describe our products, breeds and stock in good faith and try to keep the information accurate and up to date. However, details on the site are for general guidance only and may change without notice.

In particular:

• Livestock availability changes constantly and is seasonal. The breeds shown on the site may not always be in stock, and what is available is confirmed at the point of your enquiry.
• Photographs and descriptions are illustrative. Living birds vary in appearance, size and markings, and the exact bird you receive may differ from any image shown.
• Always confirm current availability, breeds and condition with us before making arrangements.

Pricing

Prices are provided in good faith and may change without notice. Any price is confirmed with you at the point of enquiry, before any sale is agreed.

• Where a price is shown for poultry housing, it includes delivery only where that is clearly stated. Otherwise, delivery is arranged and priced separately.
• Live poultry and fertile hatching eggs are shown as “enquire for price”, as they depend on breed, age, quantity, season and availability.
• Any quoted price is for the specific items and arrangements discussed and is not a standing offer.

Care and welfare of livestock

Our birds are healthy and well cared for while they are with us. Once you have collected livestock, their care, housing, health and welfare become your responsibility.

You are responsible for being able to keep poultry or waterfowl properly and lawfully, including providing suitable housing, food, water and conditions, and for meeting any rules that apply to keeping or moving birds. If you are unsure whether a breed is right for you, please ask us before you arrange collection.

Acceptable use of the site

You may use this website for lawful purposes and to find out about and enquire about our products. You agree not to:

• use the site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;
• submit false, misleading or another person’s details through our enquiry forms;
• send unlawful, abusive, offensive or harmful content through the forms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected systems; or
• use the site in a way that could damage, disable or overload it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.

We may restrict or withdraw access to the site if these terms are not followed.

Enquiry forms

Our website has several enquiry forms (general contact, poultry, housing, and trade or commercial). When you complete a form, you provide information such as your name, email address, an optional phone number, your selection or requirement, and your message. The trade form also asks for a business name and contact name.

These forms are submitted and stored through Netlify Forms, provided by our hosting provider, Netlify, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. We use the information you give us only to respond to your enquiry and to deal with you as a customer. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, photographs, designs, logos and branding, belongs to Clogher Valley Eggs & Poultry or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may view and print pages from the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or use any of our content for any other purpose without our written permission.

Links and third-party services

This website contains some links to, and content from, other organisations that we do not control:

• The Contact page includes an embedded Google Maps map. Loading the map may set third-party cookies and share some data, such as your IP address, with Google.
• The site links out to our Facebook page.

Aside from the embedded map, the rest of the site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own site rather than loaded from a third party.
